We definitely got our money's worth at Selva Bananito Lodge. The room was comfortable and clean, and the view from the balcony into the jungle was absolutely dreamy. The staff treated us like family, with Jurgen, the eco enthusiast, even taking me on a birthday flight in his auto gyro!

The only thing that could have made the breakfast selection better was more variety.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

We had a blast doing all the activities like horse riding and hiking to waterfalls. The guides were super cool and kept us safe while we had mad fun. The food was basic, but we all ate together and met people from all over the world. It was epic!

The only thing we wished for was a rad party scene at night. It would've been sick to have some music and dancing to keep the vibes going after a day of adventure.

We stayed at Selva Bananito for two nights and it was an amazing experience. The location was breathtaking, with a scenic drive through rivers and stunning scenery. The lodges were cozy and had the most comfortable hammocks we've had in Costa Rica. The activities were fun, well-organized, and catered to all abilities. The family-style dinners were a highlight, creating a sense of community among guests. And being an eco lodge, dining by candlelight added to the magical ambiance. Thank you Selva Bananito team, we'll be back!

The rooms at Selva Bananito Lodge are simply charming. With their rustic wooden décor and mosquito nets, they provide a cozy and natural ambiance. I loved waking up to the breathtaking views from the balcony, surrounded by mountains and the soothing sound of the river. The private bathroom had all the necessary toiletries, and the desk was handy for my work needs. as a nature-loving traveler, these rooms made me feel at home in the midst of paradise.

Just a personal preference, but I found the solar-heated warm water a little too tepid for my liking. However, others might still appreciate the eco-friendly aspect and enjoy it.

As women traveling alone, we felt safe and welcomed at Selva Bananito Lodge. the staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel like part of the family. the accommodation was comfortable and clean, with beautiful views of the jungle. the food was fresh and delicious, and the activities, such as jungle hikes and horseback riding, were adventurous and enjoyable.

Felt like a home away from home, with nothing to complain about.
